  • Family member details (e.g., names and profile images selected from predefined options).
  • Reminder preferences (e.g., notification times).
• Permissions: The App requires permission to send notifications for event reminders, as indicated in the App’s permission request.
• No Other Data: We do not collect device identifiers, location data, analytics, or any other personal information automatically.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information you provide is used solely to provide the App’s functionality, including:

• Creating and managing family events and reminders.
• Displaying family member profiles and associated events within the App.
• Sending local notifications for event reminders based on your preferences.

All data is stored locally on your device and is not shared with us or any third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

All data entered in KidCal - Family Hub is stored locally on your device using Apple’s CoreData framework. We do not store or process your data on our servers or any third-party servers. We implement reasonable security measures to protect data stored on your device, but you are responsible for securing your device against unauthorized access.

Data Deletion: You can delete your data at any time by removing events or family member profiles within the App or by uninstalling the App, which removes all associated data from your device.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or disclose your information to any third parties, as all data remains on your device. The App does not integrate with third-party services or analytics tools.

5. Children’s Privacy

KidCal - Family Hub is designed for family use and may involve data related to children (e.g., family member names). We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not collect personal information from children under 13. All data is provided by the user (e.g., parents or guardians) and stored locally. Parents or guardians are responsible for managing the data entered for children.

6. Permissions

The App requests permission to send notifications to deliver event reminders. You can manage these permissions in your device’s Settings app. No other permissions (e.g., location, camera, or contacts) are required or requested.

7. Compliance with Laws

We comply with applicable privacy laws, including:

• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): As no personal data is collected or transmitted, GDPR requirements are not applicable.
